So it's that holiday with the candy and dressing up, already! I was on a real streak for getting my holiday crochet done early. Then IT happened. Or maybe I'm just getting old. I sat up one night by the window and it was quite chilly. The next day I had the obvious stiff neck. But my left arm was killing me. Right at the elbow it felt like someone bashed it with a baseball bat. The stiff neck went away but the arm Still aches. It was so painful for days I couldn't sleep for more then a few hours because I would have to prop my arm up in the perfect position with pillows and turning on either side woke me up. I hate sleeping on my back. I went through almost an entire 500 tablet bottle of 200mg ibuprofen. (Could be cause I was taking 6 at a time) I even went cupboard cleaning for an old bottle of prescription pain killers. I considered that maybe the influx of crochet time after not doing any in almost a year strained something. I wore a cheap brace on the wrist for a bit. I don't think crochet was really the cause. I've never had a pain like this for an extended amount of time. Even now, well over a month+ later, my elbow aches.
But I have gotten back to working on some of my projects. I am well behind posting them. I need to make another list and get to it. I got off easy this year with my youngest. He was invited to play laser tag for 6! hours. So he decided he didn't need a costume this year. He did mention next year looked good for a batman costume though. Don't eat to much candy and see you soon.
