What could bring me back to post after sooo long? Kendra the Eagle

Kendra the Eagle was made for and named by my son. I made it for his birthday. It's his school mascot. My version anyway. For personal use. Please don't post elsewhere either in part or full pattern. Pictures and graphics are my own and also not authorized for use for profit. Ty!

The wings turned out great! I'd wanted to have 4 main parts but it would have made the whole piece too tall for what I had in mind.

My older son said she was 'Bug eyed". I liked the detail and the pop it brought.

The ridge above the eye worked just as I envisioned.

Beak. Hmmm still iffy but turned out better than I thought it would. 

Legs/claws. I think they look right for proportion. The color would have drawn too much attention to make these any more substantial.

She even looks good from the back. Just look at those glorious tail feathers.
